29,000 runners took part in the Cowtown Marathon

It was the biggest weekend for runners in Ft. Worth as the 48th annual Cowtown Marathon takes place.  Over 29,000 runners took to the streets of Ft. Worth for this event which started and finished at the Will Rogers Memorial Center.

Saturday’s schedule featured the 5k and 10k races.  Sunday’s itinerary had the 13.1 mile Half Marathon, the 26.2 mile Marathon and the 31.1 mile Ultra Marathon.  All races started at 7am both days

Ft. Worth Mayor Mattie Parker and former Mayor Betsy Price both ran the Cowtown Half Marathon.

Congrats to all the runners, volunteers and spectators who again made the Cowtown Marathon successful.
